calorimetry

I’ve been wanting to post this for awhile. I hadn’t knitted in almost a year and thought this head wrap thing would be a fun return from the hiatus.

It works well for long hair because you can put it up—hard to do with a winter hat. And still keeps your ears warm.

Still on the life-long quest to find the perfect warm winter hat for curly hair (hat hair is esp. worse for curly headed folks).

You can find the pattern here.

Christy! That’s adorable! I love it. Very cute. Hope you guys are well…we miss you! Give E a little squeeze and a kiss…

Christy you must find the perfect hat! I have been searching and searching for one that won’t crush the curls, but still covers my ears and looks super cute. I will pay you good money if you find one and make me one too! Right now my only solution is a HUGE hat I have, but it looks dorky (in a bad way).

    Thanks, Becky!

Mandy, I’ve recently started thinking that earmuffs might be the only realistic solution. But alas, all the ones I’ve seen also look dorky—in a bad way.

Love the wrap! If I can ever finish the scarf I’ve been working on, maybe I’ll give it a try. I’ve also got another couple pairs of Dashings (http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring07/PATTdashing.html) I’ve been intending to make.
