Bluebird

We’re in the process of buying the condo (Bluebird) we’ve been renting from my mom and dad. We had found some houses in our price range, but they’re too fixer-uppery for my taste and our budget. We are familiar with the idiosyncrasies of this home we’re living in, and we know we can afford the various face lifts that were originally dreamed up by my parents that we’d like to adopt (they’re really good at stuff like that. I think I need to look at decorating magazines more or something)—changes/renovations that are freakin’ AWESOME.

When we moved in, the floor of half the place had been ripped up and replaced with beautiful laminate. Marshall helped my dad with the rest of the installation and got my cousin to help with our bedroom.
